Cuties I got one of her group from Max and the other group I got from Jean..so your male is not directly related..to be sure check the toe punch. I think cuties might have a toe punch bird.

I will have to check for a toe punch on Friday as thats the soonest it will be warm enough for me to sit and visit with them again here.

Sclark, did you keep criss cross & apple for the names? I currently have sauce paired with ellis.
Delisha, why does criss cross have the line through the middle of her feather? Does it just happen?

No I didn't Cuties, we decided as we are studying Greek Mythology for our homeschool to name all the BLRW's after those names so I listed them on the photos. So the crooked beak pullet is now Mynthe and other is Aphrodite. The cockerel sure is a nice boy, the whole house I spent out in their coop watching them he was right on my lap letting me mess all over with him.

He has serious dark mahogany red on those neck feathers. Really nice..
I like his comb so much better than one of the combs on my guy..
His comb would not stop me from using him from breeding..make sure you save a few chicks for me..we can exchange or something..so you still want this black male Orpington?..He is really growing up to be beautiful..I might have to keep him..lol

I have always loved Blackey..He is a beautiful large bird..is he almost the same size as your Silver laced?
Do you have any fertile silver laced eggs yet?
