They are my first batch so I would love opinions. I am a silkie girl so these are new to me. I hatched them from Foley eggs.

That is what I interpret mossy to mean, too. If there is any color bleeding through on the feathers other than where it is supposed to be. Like the black dotting places in the gold gives it a mossy look.

And I need to take more photos of the youngsters hatched from my own birds, the roo is from Buddy Henry and an exceptional fella in personality and temperament.

Don't you all notice that the BLRW roos are very personable?
