Blue Laced Red Wyandotte?

So yours might be Gold Laced as @Rose the Legbar said, or they might be Black Laced Red (presumably from a breeding pen of Blue Laced Reds.) The only difference would be whether they show gold or black in the middle of the feathers when they grow up.

Ack, typo, and I noticed it too late to edit (update: edit option reappeared, so I fixed it there too). The difference between Gold Laced vs. Black Laced Red is whether they show gold or RED in the middle of the feathers. Both would have black edges on the feathers.

I just wanted to add a little picture update of what they look like now in their awkward teenager stage. I’ll update again once they are fully grown

I think I'm seeing more gold than red in the feathers, but they're definitely in one of those awkward stages!

I'm looking forward to seeing them fully grown too
