I would say black copper marans no matter how many you talk about the breed is marans. --- that seemed a bit snippy sorry wasn't meaning to be just a random fact I like.

Okay I am picking her up tomorrow. I am new at this and wanted a black copper maran for egg color but haven't been able to find one. I was okay with blue just wanted to make sure. Thank you!

Not all of the black copper marans lay such a dark egg.

Well hopefully she will. I only have 6 so I am trying to get some different colors. I have peach light brown white and green. I love them all. I have become a crazy chicken lady
