Hi there I’m Heidi we live in the Blue Mountains Austraila it’s a cold climate here, we had 18 Chickens over 20 years ago but it’s been 20 years since I’ve had them so I’m relearning all over again. I now have 5 chickens and will most likely get a few more Sussex I love this breed they are so funny watching them run to me and they are so gentle and sweet! The 5 chickies are three beautiful silver laced Wyandotte’s and a Sussex Corination and a Sussex Light, they are all Pullets. I am totally in love with our new family they are very spoilt and have a lovely home with lots of roosts and two swings they haven’t used yet- lol, I am always thinking up new toys and roosts for them, I spend a lot of time every day with them hand feeding them and just talking to them, I really do think I’ve now turned into a crazy chicken
