@Acre4Me I strongly recommend putting the rest of your straight run chicks into one thread when asking gender. It would make it a lot easier on all to keep track and you'd get quicker answers.

This is our black Ameraucana roo. You can see his sickle and hackle feathers well in this pic, but he’s a year old... A roo typically has a three row pea comb, sickle and hackle feathers. No crowing? Looks like a black roo to me but not getting a great view of sickle and hackle feathers...

Yah, sure. A little easier typing roo on my phone, so I tend to use roo as generic boy, but not technically correct ;-)
