Are there any sex linked traits? I'm hatching out my first ever homegrown chicks now, the first one looks like a barred rock chick. I know with black over barred you can get sex links. What about Blue? I'm thinking with the Sussex, I'll just have to wait, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I also may have an egg or two from my blue orp hen too, which will be either all black, blue or splash, so fairly easily identifiable as to breed (but not sex). This is SO exciting!
