Blue partridge Brahma chicks, progression by week!

I was under the assumption that Brahma chickens have pea combs. Is the rooster above a mix?

I have 5 Brahma babies that are now 4 weeks. I had two buff colored ones, two brownish ones, and one with stripes. First pic is a week old. Second is two weeks. Third is three weeks. All the pictures I have seen of Brahmas are the white ones with black cape. I have no idea what these are going to look like. I'm so glad you posted this, as I was beginning to think someone was playing a joke on me.

Also, They took longer than other birds to feather. I too, have one that is not getting feathers as fast as the others - I have nicknamed him "ostrich" since his only feathers are on his wings. As you can tell, I am assuming its a roo. Names are Cinnamon (aka ostrich) Nutmeg, Ginger, Dumplin' and Noodle.

I will take some shots of them tomorrow, so you can see them at 4 weeks.

this past week Elsa had a feather on her toe/foot that was ingrown. I didn’t know this was common in feathered feet girls. She was limping and such and I had to help her and remove it. Super gross. She’s better now!
