BLUEST & LARGEST EGGS AMERAUCANA OR CREAM LEGBAR?

I've got two cream legbar pullets. I purchased them as 6 week olds, supposedly from the same hatch. However one has red ears and one has white ears. The one with red ears lays a slightly more blue/green egg. The one with white ears lays very blue eggs. The eggs are smaller than those of my barred rock and speckled sussex. However, my legbars are my best layers right now.
The barred rock pullet lays every second day on average. The legbars generally lay 3 days in a row before taking a day off.

These are my first legbars though, we'll see how quickly it drops off as they age.

Pics of red ear lobed one...both full body and close up of earlobe??

There’s a bit of white right in the centre of the lobe. Her comb/waddles/ears aren’t as bright red as my barred rock.

1. Red lobes with her egg
2. White lobes
3. Red lobes, the bodies of the two are nearly identical

Sometimes the white can 'wear' off or 'fade'.
How old is she...have they always looked like that?
Interesting. The one with the red lobes matured much faster than the other, she started laying about 7 weeks earlier and was larger in size until about a week ago.

So much fun learning about new breeds.

I have what was sold as ameraucana, most likely they are EE but lay blue. Nice large eggs. I have 5 pure CLB and they are a true blue but are noticeably smaller.

CLB are bluest...

Okay, I got some side by side photos over the week end. One photo is with the flash and one is without the flash. Here are seven Americauna eggs from our neihbor's flock. I don't know where they got the Americauna from but am pretty sure they were hatchery stock from a feed store. The large rounder eggs is a typical egg from our Cream Legbars. The Americana Eggs were probably around 58-62 grams by weight. Our legbars eggs run in the 68-72 gram range.
