I said I'd keep this thread updated for posterity. Here is Penny/Abe at about 8 weeks. She/he is now 11 weeks, and I need to take an updated photo.
Other than the early red comb and wattles, I don't see any signs of roo. Of course, I'm no where near an expert on what to look for.
Will Penny/Abe stay, or will she/he go? Stay tuned...
Shhhh.At 8 weeks, still a roo.Wait till 14-15 weeks when the saddle feathers come in.
My last BO roo got his saddle feathers in pretty late, was probably close to 4 months!
