BO with a split beak

If it's not continuing to split up I would leave it alone. I had a bird with a split beak and every week I would clean the dirt from the crack. She ate and drank fine. Hope she is ok.

Mine did great too.
They have a lot of nerve endings there so it's very painful for them.

First I cleaned it really well.
I used a little acrylic like you use in false nails and then tidied it up with a file.
I put her food on a sponge base so it didn't hurt her to peck and I used warm mash so she could eat easier.

The acrylic grew out over time and she did really well.
