The Buckeye is more brown than a red. Like the Buckeye nut.

Here is our male Buckeye taking Best of Breed at the Big Bird Classic, Pine Bluff Arkansas, Spring 2010.

buckeyes are a lighter color than the RIR originally buckeyes were darker than the RIR

When did the bantam cornish come about?

The Dark Cornish
Bantam was recognized by the APA in 1933, the other colors later on.
