The Buckeye is more brown than a red. Like the Buckeye nut.

Here is our male Buckeye taking Best of Breed at the Big Bird Classic, Pine Bluff Arkansas, Spring 2010.

Congradulations to JenScott! She took Reserve American Class with a Buckeye at the Haynesville, LA show!

I am sort of proud of her!!!!! All of my birds came from Jen. Since I could not go, it is only fair that our line win!!!!

When did the bantam cornish come about?

The Dark Cornish
Bantam was recognized by the APA in 1933, the other colors later on.

Indiana Poultry Breeders Association 59th Annual Winter Show in Connorsville IN?
Should be a good one to attend. Dec 4-5.
