Rouens and Indian Runners I do know some good breeders. First do you want to show them or just have them for personel use and pets?
Holldereads in Oregon has both of them and they sell baby ducks in the spring. You could get say five of each and have them shipped to you.
Next there may be somebuddy who lives near you and I need your state and city to figure out what to do.
Send me a personel message and this information and I will work on it for you. I see you are from From: Maysville, GA dont know anyone is Georgia but you could find some I think in January at the big Chicken Show in Lake City Fla.
I should be a broker for you guys to locate these breeds.
Of course I would not charge you anything except to promise me you would share these with begninners in the future.
I got a personel meesage from a member asking me to put together a Heritage Breed Locater of all Breeds not just Rocks and Reds. So if you have a rare Heritage Breed and want it placed onto a my Heritage list send me a personel message or if you want the folks to see this and your email address put it on here. I have names for New Hampshires I cant beleive I wrote this Black Jersy Giants, Reds, Rocks Leghorns Orpingtons ect. so far.

Bob, these would be for personal use, and hopefully in the future for 4H with my kids and others, to breed/sell... a little bit of everything...eventually. I'm gettin my ducks in a row now, pardon the pun, for late winter/spring maybe sooner.
For the record there is a good breeder and a very good honest person who has put together a site for heritage birds. Buddy Henry of Backwoods poultry Farm has a few heritage breeds on his site and is looking for more breeders. He is quite selective about who he will put on the site. If you google backwoods poultry farm you will get Buddy's website and from there you will find a link to the heritage breeders site.
He will want all breeders to speak the truth about the origin of the breed, he will want pictures and I beleive still insists that all breeders be NPIP. It is worth a look
