Got a personnel message on how to get started with American Sussex chickens. Found this information. For you who would like to start a breed club without dues it can be done.

Two groups who wanted to start a breed club I know about would not listen to me and wanted to charge dues and never got off the ground. They are a model on how you can have your favorite breed club and forget about a post office style newsletter. Send it by email. bob

Was with the chickens until after 10:00 last night...but am now 5 chickens less than I started yesterday with. I was just the middle man, but still feel great. Thanks to each who helped. heritagehabitatfarms who dropped his prices so two different 4H members could get started and jenscott who transported them two hours to my house. The Black Orpingtons went home Sunday afternoon and the Black Ameraucans went home at 10:00 pm.

If you have any heritage show type poultry that you wish to help our 4Hers with, just let me know. I have some at present wanting prices on RC RIR, if anyone happens to have any...Hint, hint!
