The last one has nice pictures and information but the breeds are not right for watch study ect. If the include hatchery numbers along with breeders numbers this makes this all off. Birds like R I Whites are so low and take white face black spanish there are more of them alive today than the RI Whites yet they have them in a different section.

A lot of breeds are in such danger and the true lost genes in many breeds are just not there anymore from the past. bob

Thanks for the info, seems such a shame there isn't a really great org for heritage though.

I'm so excited with my two silver penciled plymouth rock hens and the roo I'm getting next week (all wynettes stock), I'm just obsessed with the whole thing. Wynette is a great mentor and can't wait to get more. of her amazing eggs. Seems the number of SPPR breeders can be counted on one hand and I'm so excited to be one of them...I just have so so much to learn so I can do the breed justice.

Super new to Dominiques, pictured below is my trio from Ward and Barb Halligan of Cornerstone Farm. I was told they were about 6 weeks, and all factors considered (shipping and such) I estimate they're about 27 weeks old.

They were ordered as show quality birds and am wondering about the quality, first and foremost, of the cockerel. His back looks really long and flat.. Is this a young bird thing?? Hows the coloring?? Patterning??

PLEASEEEE be civil.. I'm new. Be constructive, not snide or catty. Thanks!!
