The answer to your question is simple: The SPPA's Breeders Directory. Over 150 breeders listed with heritage and rare fowl. These breeders are all over the US and Canada.

Chickie, I will work on getting some photos of mine over the next few days while I'm off work for the holidays. Mine are mostly non-standard colors, but lovely all the same and can still be shown as an all other variety.

Sam, your males are gorgeous! I've seen'em!

I'm going to be doing my part to make the shows that I can here in SE Oklahoma. Having my busiest school year in 2011, it'll be challenging, but I think I can manage it. I want to start giving the cubalaya and malay some face time around these parts.

So what country are these birds from ?
They are a heritage breed from South America ?
I know nothing about them...other than they are super fancy birds !
I am sticking to rare heritage American birds...that is the limit of my brain capacity...

I really wish there was more time to breed more red pyle into birds we have here in the states.
In the UK, they have fantastic red pyle and crele birds...and chocolate

I am trying to move away from the new designer breeds and stick to heritage American breeds...otherwise I would have 10 acres of chicken pens.
I also admirer someone that CAN stick to breeding one or just a few breeds...hats off to you for sticking to your breed, and not being distracted by a pretty face, I mean chicken...

I know the breed isn't a Heritage breed per say but it is a old breed and I thought I would post a picture of him on here and see what you guys thought of him.
I know he need a little more work on his "Spangling" but from what I can tell his type isn't bad. I tried to get him to stand more correct but he wasn't having it.
Pay no mind to the tie cord that I used, it was just for the picture.
