What do ya think of this - these 2 are about 9 weeks old. They came from the same hatch.... I have never had a "miniature" like this one hatch.

Ahhh, I see. Well, I am surprised that this one is very active, eats well, and seems to be okay. Just stunted or something - I don't know. Weird, for sure.

EDIT: this is not the book I thought it was, but it is good too. The one I was talking about Is the Plymouth Rock Standard breed book. Published in 1919 by the APA. It has over 400 pages and has a hard cover.

You need to have this book Kathy. There is also one on Wyandotte's.

I bet Kathy and Beth would recognise this hen..i think Beth had some from same sorce..doug acres crossed german new hampshires with barrded? it has been a while..the results were so impressive i kept the pic..if i remember right kathy and beth were working them..my memorys dusty but im pretty sure she won nationals with this one or doug did.

I'm not up on all the crosses but I thought that a red roo like a RIR or NH over a BR produced a black Sex-Link (Black Star), Where does the white come from? I'm assuming that this bird is a Delaware....Is this correct? Beautiful bird!
