we had a great time bob...the show was right next to hammondsport ny, lots to do in the area when your getting out of the way of the judges..winerys, great dining..they land those pontoon boats on the lake and a museum to go with it..fish hatchery ect...thought the wyadotte was beautiful..there was a lot of those..i wish i would have gotten more pics but the cheap camera was acting up....i did show at the show..i will post pics of those later when i can get on the laptop..for some reason this tablet wont let me do too much..it will go from my poor photos of my birds at the show to Walt 101 how to freeze frame to show what your bird actually looks like..i was signed up for another show this week but at the last min they changed the date to the 30 th so couldnt switch at work for the change..they had some flash flood damage in that area so had to do some work befor they could have the show..same thing happened to them last year only worse, last year they were underwater from the flooding..had to cancell.HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE CHICKEN SHOW. HOPE SOMEDAY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SHOW YOUR BIRDS. BOB

twin tiers poultry club show .. the whole area comes alive with shows one after another..twin tiers, then coboskill, then yankee fall classic in sayracuse, featherd freinds club show, seems like every weekend..all apa shows, many meets..twin tiers has a reputation for one of the biggest call duck meets.always a large australorp class...
tell your wife next time i will find and take pics of the seromas LOL
my husband can only take just so much of those call ducks beings that there are so many of them..so i say to him, do you want to go up to the hatchery and feed the fishey..hee hee..call ducks are like kids to me, i can tune them out..they get under his skin..after a little while he has to take a break....we took his mountian bike he took off up to the lake for a while....then to the winery for lunch..back to the show..befor you know it...its time to go home...
LOL, we would just make sure to hit the winerys first and stock up for him..the first year was priceless, he grabbed my hand and said.... LYNNE...do these ducks do that all day long? i said sure, i suppose thats why tey call them call ducks.calling in the wild ducks..took him up to feed the fishy....He should travel with us when we have 20 Call ducks and some China geese in the van and they all go off at one time. Lots of 6-8 hour trips for us here in CA to get to a show, so it would not be good if the Calls bothered a person.
