Oh I am so so sorry!!! You did your best and that is all that matters. Bobs can be troublesome to hatch. There is definitely a learning curve with Bobs, unlike other poultry. And of course starting with the highest quality of stock helps too.

I believe all your issues stemmed mostly from incubator issues. If you have a good working bator, incubate a tad higher with Bobs than Cots, a tad higher humidity during the first and later portions of incubation, I think you will do just fine.

So you have 1 baby? He will do just fine. Give him lots of love and such.

Yes have one in with the cots and they are looking after him

I have some tuxedos in my other inc and going to look at getting a brinsea instead of these two Chinese ones

Great that he has friends now. Ooh and good luck with your tux's and Chinese quail!! LOVE those species of quail!!
