bobcat pictures

Wow.. Awesome pics.. Although I honestly feel sad at the thought of those bobs going down. I wonder if game and fisheries would relocate them.

Those other pics with the deer carcass are cool too.. That deer looks tiny compared to the buzzards

I'm in VA.. I have family that lives in a valley and they have seen a bob walking in their yard.. I don't think that are exclusive mountain goers

magoochie,

Could you post a picture of the Fisher you mentioned?

Those birds in the picture aren't Buzzards they are Golden Eagles.

Here is a picture that was taken out there a couple weeks ago. the date on the camera is wrong, but this is the fisher on what is left of the deer.

I have only ever lost 2 ducks. But it was not to a fisher. I think it was a skunk or a opossum. A fisher will kill as much as it can if it gets into a coop usually. And I only lost one duck a night for 2 nights. The ducks were in with 15 chickens, but the chickens werent touched.

Still, scary stuff.. Hard to imagine a bird with a 7ft wing span. They must look like a small plane when they are nearby.

We have different eagles around here. But most of the time you'll see sharp-shinned hawks, merlins or coopers sitting in trees at the road-highway and that's about it.
