about 15 years ago we had a cougar running around our old neighborhood. the first time anyone saw it was when this nice lady 2 houses up from ours woke up and opened the blinds of her basement window, so when she opened them there was this cougar looking right at her, she was very scared. then last year not far from my old house a cougar walked onto a elementary school grounds while kids were out playing during school, but lucky for everyone the school went into lock down and no one got hurt

OMG that was it!!!! Now I wish I would have woke my husband up! It was in the summer and warm out and the windows were open. No one believed me...I made that sound myself(tried to) and they looked at me like I was nuts. I went online and there hadn't been any "confirmed" sightings in this area. Wow... One of my dogs was barking last night, I opened the back door and stuck my head out.. I head a freakish noise that sounded like something from a horror movie.

I listened to the bobcat sounds, and I think that is what I heard.. The thing is, we live in the middle of the city. The noise came from a strip of woods behind our house, it is about 100 feet wide and a mile long.

We get deer, turkey, foxes, possum and raccoon here. But I never expected a bobcat.

Our neighbors domestic cat vanished, I wonder if a bob could have eaten him
