I didn't know it was hatching season. It's almost winter and I already had a waterer freeze. No more batches of 120 eggs for a while. I have about 25 in right now though.

There have been a number of mutations developed in captivity. Some of the popular colors include the Mexican Speckled, the Tennessee Red, White, Blonde, and Silver Bobwhites. There are also strains developed for their large size, such as the Wisconsin Jumbo and the Indiana Giant. Hope this helps.

I would try ordering the eggs off of ebay. I bought some solid white and tennessee reds, but I sold them all off.

Just keep doin what your doin. As far as taming goes I haven't figured that out yet.
