Bobwhite Quail and Full grown Chickens Help

I wouldn't. How have you been housing them or are these newly acquired? Quail do best on wire floored pens off of the ground. They are susceptible to disease, which is why we raise them this way...and away from chickens. I don't know how they would interact because we've never tried it, but quail can be pretty aggressive too, especially this time of year.

I would not mix the chickens with the quail. My chickens occasionally kill sparrows that feed from their feeders.also noticed pheasants I raised did the same thing. The quail are very enjoyable to have,so get you some quail pens made they just like building rabbit hutches.
 
I woudlnt wait too long on an answer from the original poster. This thread was started march of 2007.
