Wild bobwhite have always lived in Ontario before they were pushed out due to agriculture and hunting. So yes, they can survive our winters. And, my quail are always in the aviary, rain or shine, -30 or +30, and survive fine.

Where and how did you get the permit to keep bobwhite quail? I see over and over again that you need a permit but can't find where to get it. I'm also near norwich ontario
