My boer goat was in a cast for a month, so we took her to the vet to x-ray to see how the leg was doing, and to take off the cast. The vet said that her leg has stabilized, and that it is crooked but functional and she was putting some weight on it. I wish her leg made a full recovery, but look, I'm thankful that even though it is crooked that its functional.

She doesn't like it if you touch her leg, and the vet said to keep her confined for another 2 weeks. She was also talking about cartilage. My question is, is that keeping her confined for 2 weeks have to do with the cartilage, and can a goat like that have babies?

The vet wants you to keep the goat confined so the leg can heal some more and gain strength. If the leg can support her OK there is no reason she can't have babies.
