Oh dear I now have 2 sick baby 3 week old chicks and a rhode Is red adult all 3 sick,
Don’t want to stand up look like there about to die what have I done wrong ? Anyone please
I’ve attached photos of what she pooped out just now ( adult) hard and rubbery
And ideas please how to save them.

That's lash material.
I would give the hen that expelled the lash material 250 mg amoxicillin twice daily for a week starting immediately. You can get it from fish supply stores as Fish Mox.

How long have you had the chicks?
Are they standing?
Are they eating and drinking?
What does the poop look like?
I would start with administering poultry vitamins.

Welcome. I would treat both babies and adults with Amoxicillin. As far as hope and faith, I have a lash egger that is going on 9-months post lash egg thus far. The key is treating fast and knowing the source of the infection (ecoli, MG, staphylococcus, streptococcus, etc...).

There thank you so much any info I can get at the moment is helpful
My daughter has the 2 baby chicks
Plus the adult Rhode Is Red adult she has just signed into BYC on the internet I feel her stress, she’s in Toowoomba and I’m in Townsville ( we both have chooks ) we love them I really appreciate all the info and help I can get to help her at the moment she’s so stressed , and has no car today it’s in for a service she can’t get the the fish supply shop to get the antibiotics that weee recommended!!

She can get them later today do you think this will help ??

Also I told her to give the “wonky baby E/B plus a 1/4 of boiled egg with water the babies like it and will eat it but seem to be getting sicker they now can’t stand
