Boiled Eggs Won't Peel?

We have found that older eggs peel more easily, and also if you add cold water to the eggs immediately after boiling, it helps. That is what we do but frankly the older eggs make a huge difference!

I am thinking you're right. I just finished testing the ideas suggestions everyone made and I still have difficult eggs to peel. They are 1-3 day old eggs, so I think I will only boil maybe 1 - 1 1/2 week old eggs. Thank you.

We have 3-4 week old eggs in our refrigerator- that is how old ours are usually, if this info helps.

Store bought can up a month old from date of lay to packaging. Then they ship to your store !! So two months old is not out of the question
