Hey BYC friends!
I work at Bomgaars (yep, the farm & hardware store) and thought it’d be fun to make a thread about all the chaos, laughs, and chicken expertise I get to share at work.


A little about me:

• Position: Starter Sales Associate (aka the newbie who’s slowly taking over the chaos)
• Specialty: Chickens — yes, I know all about Cochin fluff, feed, and proper pampering
• Vibe: Chaotic but fun, loves teasing coworkers and making the shifts entertaining
• Fun Fact: Sometimes I get drafted into doing “stupid stuff” with coworkers when there aren’t customers around

What this thread is for:

• Sharing funny or wild work stories
• Talking chicken knowledge & animal care in the store
• Teasing coworkers in a way that’s safe online
• Basically… documenting the life of a chaotic chicken-loving farm store associate

like jackson was moving the ladder without picking it up so it was slidding on the floor and i said wouldnt it be easier if you just picked up the ladder jackson said yes but i wanna be stupid which was funny and then jackson was tired and saying he wished he didnt have to get up bc he was sitting down at this point and cash is like you have work to do and then jackson was like thats what we have sam for. kind of funny tbh

and jackson tossed a box by cash and i said oh we are throwing boxes now and jackson said yea we do stupid stuff if there arent customers around Edit: i had to reword it bc profanity isnt allowed here
