Crow looked at him in surprise. "No problem," he mumbled, then realized something. His dark eyes met with the other Feral and he asked, "Do you know where the new humans are? I'm, uh, going to bring them this food." he said, gesturing to the food he was carrying.

Star blinked. Of course. There was one way to tell. "Hey, um..." she stared up at the alien, not quite sure if she was ready to speak to it yet. To acknowledge its existence. But the creature turned to her before she could choke back the words. It did have kind eyes, if that counted for anything. "Linda. Can you do a DNA test for me and River? I mean, if it's not too much- ow!"

"Jes, I can to that. It will take five to ten tays to get results, though." Linda said, pulling the string tight.
