"We do lots of things for fun," she said, "but just... not like that." She hadn't noticed she was gripping the dummy's head until she heard a rip. When she tried to pull her hand away, the head came with it. She muttered something under her breath, trying to pull her fingers out.

Then as he sat there rubbing his arm where she punched him he considered what she said. "80 years huh, that's like really old by human standards, is that old for your kind? " He asked curiously wondering how long a alien like herself lived for, she certainly didn't seem old. He felt something poke his head and reached up rubbing the spot he looked up curiously and then jumped back and gave a startled yelp. He had not been expecting a human to be standing on the ceiling above him.

He looked at the girl, "What, how are you up there?" He asked Star as he regained his composure.

(Pretty much. Linda is 80 and she's like a 20-something college grad, so... well, no... let me check. Because if they lived to be 200, she would be like 40.)

I meet them there, I don't give out my address, not safe. Why you want to hire me in the future?" She asked a touch suspicious of all the questions.

She flicked a dried flake of blood from under her nails. Wrinkled up her nose slightly. "Considering what just went on 'ere, you seem like a decent sort in that case. And you're local, not to mention you seem to be available." She nudged some debris aside with the tip of her boot and made her way over to a window.

Dorian smiled at her, happy she agreed with him. He hoped she agreed to be his bond, he had never put himself out there and asked someone this before. He had been alone essentially, other then Nemra for so long. It would be an adjustment for sure but he felt he was ready for it. " I will warn you in advance if you agree, I am a wander and you may end up traveling a lot." He told her hoping she would enjoy it as much as he did.

Lara chuckled at that and shrugged "I like travelling, seeing new places. It's kind of why I came on the ship when we had that choice." She said happily. She would like to see everything she could that was available.

(I would think every two years, because for example how Siri live twice as long as humans, it would probably take twice as long for their mental development too. But that's just my guess; I'm not the owner of the RP so I wouldn't know for sure. Good question.)

(I agree with CP, however, I did read a tumblr post about how humans are elves that live like, 1,000 years in a dog's perspective.)
