Bonded (a planetary RP)

Crow stared at Erin. Do humans really have memories that short? He thought, confused. I'm sure I talked to this same human. Unless she has a twin... "Uh, we already met, I think. You said I was a 'rookie'." He said slowly.
(She doesn't, but I do. :p )
She stared at him wide-eyed for a moment, then faceplamed, "Sorry. Today has been ridiculous. Um, you're Crow, right?"

(Just FYI if he's an american kid he'll probably recognize her once the hair isn't dangling over her face. You know, famous superhero.
Unless it's all in her head and she's completely bonkers. But I still say a flying girl would make headlines pretty quick.)
She giggled, "Oh, you know. I have my ways." backing away, she touched her necklace. With her good leg she kicked off, twisting around to land beside them with a thump. She winced, and instantly wondered if the boy had seen it. Probably not. She pushed the dreadlocks out of her face. "By the way, have you seen the room with all the weapons in it, yet? Pretty cool."

Narti gave a half smile, knowing that she found a pretty awesome human (or more like the human found her) to have as her 'seeing eye'. She laughed at the strange thought. "Hey, 50 years is only 25% of what I can live to; Siri can live to the ripe old age of 200!" She cheerfully, waving her hands as she spoke. She was then about to ask how old Jax was, as she knew humans did not live very long. She was a bit saddened by the fact, but of course she didn't show the sadness, instead her smile grew larger. But, her thoughts were interrupted by an unexpected commotion.

Narti instantly jumped to her feet and pulled her hands into fists as she heard a startled yelp. She swiftly spun around as she listened for any noise that indicated what was happening. But, after hearing a new friendly voice of a human girl, she relaxed. Wait.... was she hearing the voice come from above them? Well she must have, because at that moment Jax asked the girl how she was up on what Narti presumed to be the roof. No, couldn't be. Yet her suspicions were, again, confirmed when she heard a thump next to her. She cleared her throat "What exactly just happened?"

"Oh, hiya... uh, I'm St-" she stopped herself. Did she really want to be known as Star the star, here? She could goof around if she wasn't. A twinge of guilt told her that she would eventually have to go home. If that were possible. She still didn't want to trust the aliens, especially after she had watched Linda hold her maybe-sister upside down. Even if she had doctored her leg. She might as well say. If there was even a remote chance of going back, no one could know her alias Seeker. "I'm Star. I can fly, and I was... crawling on the ceiling."

"um, I am Jaxson and this is Narti." He said introducing them to her. He wasn't sure how he felt about the flying human. He had heard of her on earth, something of a super hero. Or that is what she portrayed herself as, but he was never sure how felt about it all. Humans didn't fly, so how could she? Beside he was always of the mind that real super hero's didn't need the fame that she seemed to enjoy.

She nodded, smiling, but when she realized the Linda-alien couldn't understand that more than the wrustling of her clothes, she spoke. "How do you do?" In the back of her mind she wondered if Narti would want to feel her face to see what she looked like. It was probably dirty as all getout, and as for her hair, the thin dreadlocks spoke for themselves. The people on earth didn't seem to mind. Well, all accept for this Jaxon character. She didn't like the way he looked at her. Any kind of friendliness just seemed to be the polite kind. Huh. Odd.
"Uh, like I said, I was back in the weapons room a while ago. Man, you guys must like to blow stuff up. I mean... when you have to."

She stared at him wide-eyed for a moment, then faceplamed, "Sorry. Today has been ridiculous. Um, you're Crow, right?"
Crow nodded. “Yes, in your language, my name is Crow.” He said. “By the way, what does ‘rookie’ mean? I’m usually good at figuring out new languages, but I’ve never heard that word.”

"Oh, sorry. It means you're new at something, or that you haven't been professionally trained." She rubbed the back of her neck and kicked at a bolt in the floor. "Hey, you're not going to tell anyone are you? About the-" she jerked a thumb at where she had fallen and then went back to messing with her hair. "dancing. There wasn't any call for that, I just forgot... what happened... with the... yeah." She shoved her hands in her pockets and stared into his eyes. They were unsettling, black as they were, but comforting at the same time. She looked away. That was weird. She'd never felt that way about a Feral.

Oh. Well, I guess that makes sense. I am new to this ship. "I wasn't planning to. Uh, may I ask what happened? The captain keeps me uninformed." He joked, but he really was curious. He noticed her staring at him and looked at the floor, shuffling his feet.

Erin let out a long breath, "Uhh, yeah. I guess. Um... I kinda... failed my bond today, so. I'm headed to court pretty soon. And, uh, the ship was a total loss. Half of the humans wandered off without being neutralized. Yep. Yep, yep, yep." She rocked back on one foot and turned. Her chest seized up again. Kicking a box, she shook her head. "If they knew I was dancing they might think I-" she kicked the box again. "Approved, of the day's events."

"Oh," was all Crow could say. He wished he could comfort her, but he didn't know how. Wait, why would I want to comfort a human? Maybe I've been in this form for too long...

"Sorry, Um. Can I get you a coffee or something? I'd like to hear about how you got on this ship. I mean, if you don't mind."
Crow suddenly tensed, "Um, I have to do something for... Karaas. Yes, something about moving boxes. Sorry," Crow said quickly, already moving away. He didn't want to even think of his past. Telling it to a human he barely knew? No way.
