Solana followed the tracks for a while in silence, she could tell by how some were shuffling along that they were getting tired. She looked at Ezor and Odo as she considered their next move, maybe they should have Odo shit and fly over head to see where they might be.

Aster lowered herself to the floor and held on to a split plank as the ship tossed to and fro. Her eyes glanced from the Captain to the boy as she rationalized how to first keep the boat from sinking, and secondly to survive. The Captain was pulled from the ship. Aster stood readily and ran to look over the ocean. "Canons won't help us." She stated heavily as she searched the waters. "We can't shoot something that isn't seen." She explained further as turned to look at the boy. Looking around the deck she thought over the few logical options that there were. "Can you help me?" She questioned the boy urgently.

Aster ignored the boy momentarily as she turned, and brought the ship's anchor closer to the railing with a rope. "I'm going into the water to kill that creature before it kills us, and maybe save the captain if he is still alive." She looked to the boy directly as she showed him the roped tied to the anchor. "I'm going to hold onto this rope, and when I tug I need you to push the anchor overboard. I will then use the the rope to guide the anchor to kill the creature." Aster sounded more confident than she felt, but her voice changed to a more serious tone to keep the boy's attention. "But if I fail I want you to take the lifeboat from the cabin and save yourself before the ships drowns with you in it. Understand?" She demanded with concern for him.
