Lara jumped then quickly stood up at the appearance of the newcomers. Okay, something was off here.
"The rooster talked" Donella said, looking from one to the other of them.

"You must of heard wrong chickens just don`t talk" River said coolly

"Unless he's got like parrots in his ancestry, yeah, he talked. Just one word in there with the clucking, but we both heard it." Lara said
Donella nodded then glanced to the crash site "Could be whatever happened here, like superman type stuff."
"Superman was an alien Don, it would be more like Spiderman." Lara interrupted.
"Spiderman was genetic engineering, alright, probably more along the lines of Fantastic Four with the cosmic rays than anything else, Lara" Donella said then both looked at the others again and flushed at their little scene "Uh, sorry, but yeah, you should probably get him checked out."

Lara frowned and looked over to him then shrugged "Why not? You do want to make sure he's healthy, right?" She asked in confusion. "Roosters don't usually talk, this one did, which means he had to get into something and who knows what else whatever he got into has or is doing to him."

Donella face palmed and shook her head "Not our problem Lar, we have to get back to the car and make some phone calls, get some professionals in here to check this place out."

Solana realized this was going to be a problem, ugh she hated kidnapping but she had no other choice. In one swift motion she dropped the rooster and grabbed her whip, setting it to stun by the way she grabbed the handle. She pulled her arm back and sent the whip out, all it had to do was touch their skin and it would be enough to stun them. She watched as the whip connected with the one named Lara but missed the other. "River get the second one!" She called as she moved into place to catch Lara as she fell.

Donella stared in shock for a moment then turned to run. She didn't understand what went wrong there, but she knew she needed to get help and get Lara away from these weird people.

In one swift motion she dropped the rooster and grabbed her whip, setting it to stun by the way she grabbed the handle. "I'll get the rooster before anymore damage is done." Solana said acting quickly she moved closer into view of the crash site.

"Excuse me?!" She called out to the two girls, "Is that my Frosty? Oh thank goodness you found my rooster I was so worried he had been eaten by something." She said putting extra feeling in her voice as she rushed up to the rooster and scooped him up in her arms hugging him to her chest. She bent her head and whispered to the rooster so only he could hear, "If you say one word I will eat you myself, they can't know your not normal." She then looked up at the two girls and smiled at them warmly.
