When they came to a stop, Narti chuckled as well. "Yeah, nice work! I suppose your species isn't comepletely useless." She said with a wry smile tugging at the side of her mouth, "I'm just kidding, I know humans aren't useless, I just never saw the point of bonding with them until now. Like, how can a human be helpful to an alien?" She laughed at her ridiculousness, shaking her head. Thank the stars Jax helped her out of the smoke; who knows what would have happened if he didn't. Narti slid to the floor and sat with her legs crossed for a moment as she took in the clean air. "Argh, that smoke messed with my head." She said, hitting the side of her head with the palm of her hand. "My home planet has the most smog, but we use crystal masks to breath clean air. I'm not quite used to breathing in smoke. But I could tell the difference in that smoke, it was from a smoke bomb, I think. It doesn't happen often, so I'm guessing it was just one of the new humans messing around."
