Bonkers appears to be dragging her keel.

Bonkers is my million dollar duck, and tonight I noticed she seems to have a keel underneath , i am giving liquid calcium tonight thinking perhaps stuck egg? She’s acting quite normal, in fact shes is as always the first to come say hi when i come in the yard.

Thanks! That’s about why it looks like, @Isaac 0 , do you agree? Not water belly? Or is it it something else ? It does not feel hard like an egg in there.

If it's soft, and not hard, it's most likely her abdominal fat.

She may have been this way and i didnt notice. She sure isnt slow and i did not feel anything lumpy there.

I have noticed this small keel type appearance with some of our Drakes, I am guessing this is where a ducks stores it fat for the winter? @Isaac 0

I don't know if I'd necessarily say there intentionally building up fat, I notice it in Males be that in spring/ or fall.
