No, not really. They may have occasional spats when they're challenging the pecking order or dealing with spring hormones that's about it.

Did they draw a lot of blood? Typically seperating them will only prolong the argument. Usually, they need to duke it out and sort their issues but once blood is involved, things get more complicated :/

Yes two hens will have a dominance fight. Once their dominance issue is settled they are usually fine until some change or spring hormones set them off again. If you iinterfere with the fight, it will just take it that much longer for them to settle their differences.

We let them back out they circled each other for awhile now they are back to exploring the back yard.

My two hens traditionally have a "spat" right before they start laying for the season. I hate it. But realized they needed to sort it out themselves. Beer helps...
