I am so excited for you, I feel we are in this together keep us posted. Patience is something that is very difficult now I am sure. I had two peeps take almost 2 days to get out of the shell
Oh and when she hatches don't take her out of the incubator. You need to leave her in there a while. The two that took so long to get out of their shells took a long time to dry, they were so exhausted from all the work.
Aww, thanks guys for everything! I just had no idea that it could take so long!! I still haven't heard it or seen it move in hours! But I am going to try to stay positive! I have the little one's box ready for her just in case she hatches! We just were so excited! Hannah set on it for almost three weeks, I was forsure it was going to die after she decided not to sit on it but this morning when I picke up the egg and felt it moving...then, I put it up to my ear and could hear the little booger!! My girls and I were so happy that it had made it through the night! I am just gonna keep my fingers crossed and stop looking in that darn incubator!! I know the temp is right I just wish I knew about the humidity!! I am glad there are other chicken lovers out there to help me through this!!
Well, something apparently went wrong! After breaking through the egg the little thing died! I have no idea what happened! I I kept watching it and listen and nothing after 11 hours so I decided to take a peek! Poor little thing! I put it back in the incubator so it can dry and so that we can bury it tomorrow! I was hoping that this wold have worked! At least we tried and so did she!! I have to figure out if it was my incubator so next time things so better!
