Book Club

I just started on "The Kite Runner". It's not the sort of thing I'd usually read, but seeing as I bought it for school on behalf of my friend (away on a charity trip to Borneo) I thought I'd read it while I could take advantage of having it in my possession.

I haven't got much of a clue either. Isn't a book club just a place for people who like reading to chat?

Personally, I have a very weird taste in books, so I probably wouldn't manage that very well.

I have no particular taste, but the book has to have a happy ending.

I like Alistair MacLean. Do you know him?
Deception Point was also really good...

I love to read mystery, dramas & thrillers.
Im not too big on sci fi/fantasy books though.
Ive heard of/read Alistair MacLean, but have only read The Satan Bug

I read alot of nonfiction books ( True Crime, Science, History, anything about animals)

I read nerdy science books sometimes, they can be quite interesting. Electromagnetism, anyone?!

I've read several books by MacLean.
"Night without end" and "Floodgate" are both pretty good.
