Boost or Ensure or other drinks like it

Has anyone ever used boost or ensure for their hens in poor health or not eating?

I am just curious.

Chicken nutritional requirements vary widely from human nutritional requirements. Chickens also lack the enzymes necessary to digest lactose.

There is a baby parrot hand-feeding formula that is often tube fed to ailing birds should they need a boost. You should look into that for any ill birds.

I think those might be too high in sugar but am not sure. I wouldn't give them myself.
