Here is an idea for a crate coop.
crates can sometimes be found on Craigslist for free or very cheap compared to building from scratch.

My own big coop has reclaimed crates as the long tall wall and long short wall.


It measures 8x14.

There are so many great sources for materials, time on the other hand is much harder to come by.

These are my labeled sketches of the whole, coop, and just the hen house. Any feed back would be lovely. I also have the projected measurements.

I like your 2nd plan the best, it gives them more room to run around..just remember ""4sq ft or more per bird"" on the inside..I bet there agression goes away after it's done ..good luck
