So I am in the market for another incubator. I currently have an Incuview which has preformed flawlessly for me. BUT I want more capacity and I came across this unit offered by Premier 1. Does anyone have experience with it? I really like the egg tray design. It looks like a quality unit. Please keep this thread for all questions and comments about Borotto incubators all models.

While I don’t question the quality of the machine one thing I notice it does not have a humidity reading unless you purchase the humidity pump. Also if doing waterfowl eggs it’s my understanding that you need to do a cool down period which I do not see listed as a capability. I think at the same price as another quality unit the lack of these features maybe be a deciding factor.

Well the unit arrived damage. One of the tabs that holds the heating element was broken off. This appears to be a weak point in the unit that will need to be addressed by Borotto.
After failed negotiations with Premier 1 who offered me a $30 credit and was told to super glue it. They will be sending me a replacement unit as they refused my request for a $100 credit.
Sorry but $30 credit on a nearly $500 incubator to accept a broken incubator is
ridiculous.

Premier 1 made it right and sent me out a new one. Arrived in great shape!
This incubator is really set it and forget it with the humidity pump. The egg trays I believe are the best of all incubators.
I have 60 Quail and 25 chicken eggs set with still more room.

I'm just wondering how if they will be too loose in the spot for regular size eggs but too big for the quail egg space. Thanks for answering so quickly!
