We had a great time, saw lots of different birds, my little one wanted one of each! I found a 3 week old blue laced red wyandotte that I wanted (would have preferred an older one, but I am happy with this little one, as long it it stay Jane, and doesnt become John! lots of birds for sale outside. It was definetly worth the hour drive for us, but I think I would do Westford because its closer.

Hi Shay,

I was wondering why I didnt see you and Jose. We all missed you at the show. My three did very well. Another BYC'rs daughter showed two of my boys and they won first in their division. Then my blue silkie pullet won 1st in her division and got RV.

Congrats Beth!! The cochin did really good! Yipeeee. He is a nice looking bird. It was good seeing you on Saturday at Shays. Were there a lot of birds for sale at the swap? There is always a good selection there it seems.

Hi,

Thank you, it was good seeing you too!

No this was a very small show so, I would have to say the selling area was only 25% of the fall show. The fall show it was just huge and a biggers selection. After talking to other breeders it makes sense b/c all of us like to hang onto the good ones to watch them grow out and then we do the cull's before winter sets in

Hopefully I will see you all again soon. I am doing a farm market on the weekends for the months of June, July, Aug, and Sept so, I won't be around for till after then.

Yes, My friend Dave said that a lot of his birds were not in good feather so he was wondering if the entry would be big because he thinks a lot of birds are not in the best condition this time of year. I look at mine and they seem to be great, but then again I spoil the heck out of them.

Your friend Dave is right. My Araucana's would have done awesome a month ago but, right now they are looking ratty due to molting. I will definitely be entering more birds in the Fall show for sure

They are doing great. All my birds I brought home are in QT for the next 4 wks. But, once they settled in and were on a normal schedule everyone seemed to calm down
