She loves the shows.

She also placed first in her showmenship class. Her other birds did pretty well also. Her very young runner took Champ. waterfowl over all those little Call Ducks, even beat herself. Her buff silkie took the breed and her cousin got reserve with a splash Sarah gave her as a chick. Champ. Pigeon with her Frillback. Res. large fowl with her hamburg. Another Junior got Res. RCCL with a Quail D'Anver Sarah gave him. That's what it's all about helping each other and she doesn't mind a bird she's bred beating her at all, or any other bird for that matter, they all make a little game out of it and have lots of fun. So it was a great day!! She's getting very excited for Boston!! Can't wait to meet you Shay....

Have you tried blueing, I know that's not how it's spelt. It's a horse shampoo, the brand one we use is white on white for dogs, we order that, works wonders on her white runners and ss hamburgs. Not too much, cause they will turn blue too

But you should be able to get it at the TSC, would just be a different brand the shampoo is actually blue. The clear clarify shampoo from sauve works pretty good too, if they aren't too yellow. Man I can't spell today.

Chickn,

I notice in your signature it asks if people are on the NE newsletter list.

How do I sign up to be on it?

Thanks

I found out about the Boston show a week before entries were due, so I was able to squeak my entry in at the last minute. I'm bringing 3 of my NB Buff girls, a blue, a splash and 2 black bearded Silkie hens. I'm really excited to see how they do, especially my Buff girls!

If anyone has a breeder to show quality Blue or Black Silkie roo available, I'm looking! My black roo is shooting blanks (or he just can't get it right

), and I don't have any backup roos for my Blue/Splash flock. I only have 1 Splash hen right now (and she's nice... she'll be at the show too). I'd hate to not be able to get some babies from her this season.

Oh, she may be able to help you out there. Planning to bring 5 blacks and blues. They are offspring from her blue, black splash pen. May have a splash but he is much younger. The 5 older ones are almost a year old.
