We had a Boston terrier cross back in the 1990s. Her dad was pure Boston, mother was a mix. She was a sweetie, loved the children, was friendly with our cats, and took care of any mice that came into the house (we lived in the country).

Does she like her sweaters? She looks happy.
If they fit loosely she doesn't mind them. She's a little difficult to clothes shop for because of her unusual body shape; she's thin but deep-chested and tall, kind of like an Italian Greyhound. The piece of clothing she likes best is a custom t-shirt my mom and I made for her. I thought I had a picture of her wearing it but I can't find it right now.

I can't put coats on mine as they get dragged around by the other dogs. So mine go naked all winter.

Aw, that's too bad! I taught my other dog the "Leave her alone" command so she knows to not mess with Dorie like that (mainly because Dorie can lash out when she's grumpy/stressed).

She was a Good Dog.

She hated fire and loud noises. One Independence Day my father was visiting from out of state, and we decided to have a Roman Candles show in the backyard. We left Kyrie in the house as we gathered outside in the pitch dark, and my dh lit the first fireworks. The Roman Candle started shooting off fireballs in approximately two second intervals. Suddenly Kyrie burst through the door and flew at the fireworks. As each ball of fire exited the tube she launched herself at it, jumping high as if to attack the fire that was endangering us, her family. I can still see in my mind her leaps in the air, in an effort to protect us from something she was extremely afraid of.

Good Dog.

Kyrie died in 2005. I still have her sweater.
