Hello, I have a grey silkie who is 1month and 2 weeks old and a black silkie who is 2 months old. Please can you tell me the gender of both of them?
I think that they are both hens because neither of their comb or wattles are not developing into a roosters.
This is Kiki:

This is Delilah:

Also, is my 'grey silkie' going to turn out fully grey, or will it be a splash??
Thanks in advance!!!

Silkies are roosters until proven hens, these are some of the hardest chickens to tell the gender on. Some of these roosters hide their crow for months.

You can usually tell when they are a couple days old but after that you migth have to wait 7 or 8 months for them to start laying.

However, I don't see any male characteristics so far. Be on the watch for streamers, they are decorative feathers male silkies get.
