I bought Goose Eggs on ebay. We have a Pomeranian Goose & I haven't been able to find her a mate so decided to hatch her one. We raise birds so know how to incubate. I also sell eggs on ebay & assumed others were honest also. My eggs are never over 6 days old when sent out.
The Goose eggs weren't cheap. Well, this morning 1 out of the 6 exploded in our incubator. It got on many of the bob white eggs I am hatching for someone else. It also got all over a baby chick that we hatched. The chick was 50% covered... I washed it in warm water & put her back in the incubator, hope she'll be ok... It mostly ooozed out so could of been allot worst. The egg was slightly rotten. It shouldn't of been rotten after just 5 days in the incubator unless they sent me old eggs... Am I correct? I'm irritated this happened but don't want tell the seller they sent me old eggs in the case that I'm wrong...
Thank You,
Tori
