Bought two new peachicks (pic)

Wow I didn't realize there are already peachicks for this year! Good luck with them I hope to raise my first peachicks this year too. So far I am only used to raising the adults and sub-adults.

You are both correct. They are raised much the same as chicken chicks but they are more delicate. Many breeders prefer not to even put peafowl on the ground until at least 4 months old so their immune systems are built up.

I Like to say raise them like turkey/poults. medicated starter , 24% or near that. sometime you can sex them earlier. but not from pics.


Edit to add...Featherhead raise chicken chicks , with the care of peachicks'........way i have see some raise chicken chicks , no way could these people raise peachicks or poults.
