My turkeys are something else. Anything that doesn't follow "Barn Yard Rules" is immediatley disciplined. This was their first time seeing this guinea out of the guinea pen and I guess they knew that something wasn't right, so they ran across the road to the field to get it and bring it back home.

These are some of the same turkeys that had a fight with the crows that were stealing my chicken eggs. The crows have never returned.

Great story. So how much do you charge to fly out and train other people's turkeys ?

just wondering. I am to worried to let mine out since we have a wild flock tht hang around from time to time.
Once I get more then just my 4 breeders I will fill better about free ranging them.

That is TOO cool! I only have a pair of turkeys...but they are the 'big birds' of the flock. NO ONE messes with them!! I just hope they'll be that smart when I start letting them free range. I LOVE my turkeys tho! I wonder if your turkeys could be used to train other turkeys? lol that would be a cool trick!

Don't you love turkeys? They are my favorite birds! I have Royal Palms, and two of my hens like to sit on the top of my bird feeder (a very solid Amish-made wooden barn) and peer in the kitchen window at me!

I thought my muscovy were nosey... I never knew turkeys were such busy-bodies!

I'm just imagining your turkeys chasing that guinea back into the yard! LOL! Poor old boy... didn't know what he was up against!
