Oh and they hatched around the end of April.

If these two hatched around April I would guess cockerels, I believe they are the two I circled with the white and red ones but it’s kinda hard to tell from the photos.

Like fluffy said, it’s due to the feather patterns and red color of the comb and wattles. Females generally turn red and get bigger wattles once they start laying. If they are only 2ish months old they’ve got some time before they are at maturity.

The second bird for sure

. If the first bird is also of the same age, then yes that's a cockerel as well
