boy or girl?

no name yet but can you please tell me if its a boy or girl even though he/she is only 3 weeks old. P.S i want it to be a girl!

the pictures are not clear enough and the chick is way too young but, if I were making a wild guess, I would say a male. It looks to have a wide comb coming up. Females usually have a narrow comb. A lot can change over the next few months so this is NOT written in stone.

Too young to tell; its difficult to know for sure with Silkies until they're at least 12-14 weeks of age. But if I had to guess, I'd say male based on the large, wide comb.
